Featuring floral interpretations of nearly one hundred masterpieces in the Art Museum’s permanent collections by local garden clubs, professional designers, groups, and individuals, this free event is one of Cincinnati’s favorites.
The Cincinnati Art Award has been established by the Cincinnati Art Museum to honor a Cincinnatian who has had a significant impact on our culture at a national and international level through the making, collecting, or promoting of visual art.
The Cincinnati Art Museum announces the Schiele Award for Experimental Art and Design. The biennial award honors the work and legacy of Marjorie Schiele, a Cincinnati artist whose generous bequest established it. Eligibility is restricted to artists and designers who hold a degree from an accredited school of art and design, and who have received prior recognition in publication or exhibition beyond a local level.
The Cincinnati Art Museum’s 4th Floor Award is open to professional, non-student artists residing within twelve counties in the Greater Cincinnati area. The 4th Floor Award seeks to promote emerging artists in the tri state region.
